- Insurance accepted

Big Mountain Mental Health is in network with the following insurers:
Aetna Blue Cross Blue Shield CHIP/Healthy Montana KidsCoverage details vary by plan, and not all plans cover all services. It’s a good idea to confirm your specific mental health benefits with your insurer before your first appointment. Big Mountain Mental Health is unable to make assurances about what insurance will and will not cover.
- Cash pay
A reduced cash-pay rate is available for clients who need it.
- Billing
Insurance claims are submitted directly on your behalf, and you are responsible for any copay, coinsurance, or deductible amounts your plan requires. You are responsible for any known costs (i.e. full session fees for cash clients, copays for insurance clients) at the time of service.
- Good Faith Estimate
Under the federal No Surprises Act, clients who are not using insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected costs for services. An estimate is provided before treatment begins and is available at any time on request.
Payment Policies
Payment is due at the time of service. Accepted forms of payment are cash, check, Venmo, and credit card.
For clients using insurance, the practice bills the insurer directly at the contracted rate. Clients are responsible for any amount the plan does not cover, and Big Mountain Mental Health makes no assurances about insurance benefits. Just because Big Mountain Mental Health is in-network for your insurer does not necessarily mean that they will pay for services. Clients are encouraged to contact their insurer before beginning treatment to understand their mental health benefits and avoid nasty surprises.
